We venture out on a Friday for tex-mex at Guerros, and the first live music the kids ever pay attention to. Zydeco—it’s catchy! The afternoon also featured a rare opportunity for photography in the UT stadium, which seemed like a thing to do. I swear I don’t recognize myself, in all this burnt orange.

We had a great time hanging out in our new backyard section, the underdeck, on Saturday. Annie enjoyed the water features (the hose, her splash table) while Paul chillaxed in the baby recliner. An hour later, a stomach bug began making its relentless way through our family, but this part of the weekend, this was good.
